ROXETTE LIVE IN PORTO ALEGRE!

It was 18 years ago...
when Marie was 34 & Per 33! Me? A baby of 14!!!
Finally! I have the honour to present one of the best Roxette Concerts according to Gessle, Åsa and Clarence Öfwerman! (They mentioned it in 2007 & 2009 during En Händig Man Tour & Party Crasher European Tour).
What: Roxette Live in Porto Alegre, Brazil
Tour: Join the Joyride World Tour 1991/1992.
Where: Gigantinho Arena.
Date: May 6th of 1992.
Arena capacity: 16.000.
Audiance: 18.000 (!!!)
The Roxette crew staff had to remove the backgound of the stage before the concert because there were people behind the stage! Believe!!! Nowadays it's a tendence to put the stage in the middle of the audiance... but what nobody knows is that Roxette started with this tendence, and in 1992!!!! Marie started the concert singing to all directions... Roxette and the band confessed they were impressed with so many people!
Per mentioned it in all interviews around Brazil. Take a look on his smile when he talked about Porto Alegre concert in an interview from 1999, during Have a Nice Day Promo Tour in Brasil.
He also mentioned it when I gave him the bootleg of the concert during EHM Tour in 2007. And also when I gave him the DVD of the concert and more in 2009 during PC European Tour.

Bootleg CD: Roxette Live in Porto Alegre Brasil.
Origin: The Radio Atlantida FM broadcasted the concert. Some years later, around 1994, there were a big fight inside the radio and one of the producers left the team. And he decided to take with him 5 concerts broadcasted by the Radio as "payment"! One of these concerts was Roxette one. To make money he decided to sell those precious recordings (I also remember there was Ramones Concert in the package!). So, a close person of mine, from EMI office that also worked as DJ, told me about this selling. I bought Porto Alegre Concert!!!
What I know from that period about copy numbers: only 1 copy was sold before I had bought the tape. Now I promise to change this number and put the CD for donwload here very soon!

Origin: My personal archieves & Ivana's archieves.
It contains: Porto Alegre concert, Rio de Janeiro concert, interviews and a teaser of Porto Alegre city.
Now, the big question: Do you believe in coincidence???

APRIL 1st PEOPLE!
Sorry my dear friends, but I think you would realise after reading the impossible mark of 27 concerts in only 1 country! It would be impossible to arrange 1 concert in every brazilian state!
And I also thought you would realise about the strange "opening acts" for Roxette! Well to do not mention the terrible names of Roxette new album and single! I wasn't inspired! But I will work about it!
Folks... you forgot to check the tag in the end of the article: "april 1st"
Oops, sorry! I know I shouldn't play with the poor South Americans! I know we are so hopeful to have Roxette here again after so many years that anything could be real... even that post... that we could believe in anything... Sorry once again for my kid spirit!

Desculpa meus queridos amigos, mas eu achava que vocês iriam perceber depois de ler a marca impossível de 27 shows em apenas 1 país, mesmo esse sendo o nosso Brasil querido! Seria impossível 1 show em cada estado brasileiro!
E eu também achava que vocês iriam perceber sobre os estranhos shows de abertura, em se tratando de Roxette!
Bem, sem mencionar os nomes terríveis do novo álbum e single do Roxette que inventei! Não estava muito inspirada! Vou meditar sobre isso!
Povo... vocês esqueceram de ver o tag "april 1st" (1º de abril) no fim da matéria!
Opa, desculpe! Eu sei que não se deve brincar com os pobres Sul-Americanos! Eu sei que estamos tão esperançosos de ter o Roxette aqui de novo depois de tantos anos que tudo poderia ser real... até mesmo este post sem pé nem cabeça! Desculpe mais uma vez pelo meu espírito infantil!

ROXETTE 2010 BRAZILIAN TOUR!
Yes it's true!
Roxette is back in Brazil, after 11 years!
Love Nation and D&P Management confirmed a Tour in Brazil in 2010!
According to Thomas Persson, from Love Nation, the Brazilian Tour will start after Roxette Russian concerts, in September.
There will be 1 concert in each Brazilian state, what means a number of 27 concerts!
Roxette will be the 1st artist to tour in the whole country! And they will be added in the guinessbook for this incredible marks from the 2010 Brazilian Tour!
They will start the Tour in Porto Alegre (RS), at Gigantinho arena, the same stage from 1992 and will finish in Boa Vista (RR).
Roxette manager also informed there will be more concerts in South America: 3 concerts in Argentia, 1 in Uruguay, 2 in Chile (1 in the capital and the other one in the famous Viña Del Mar Festival), 1 in Peru, 1 in Colombia and 1 Venezuela.
